District is rich in minerals resources like Marbel block,Limestone,Granite block etc. Banaskantha district accounts for almost the entire marble reserves of Gujarat. The white marble of Ambaji is known for its amenability to carving. Other deposits in Banaskantha district are Jarivav, Kumbharia,Kateswar, Bheroj and Khikla.
